Take part in Grow’s food and drink auction

We’re really excited to host an online auction of unmissable prizes and experiences from well-known independent food and drinks businesses across Sheffield. Taking place between 27 October and 3 November, our online auction is set to raise essential funds to support our wok in inspiring 16-24 year olds who face mental health difficulties, social isolation and have little or no work prospects, through our horticultural programmes.
Sheffield’s celebrated food producers, retailers and hospitality venues have donated an incredible collection of prizes, from cooking workshops and food and drink tours, to a hamper of foodie books. Top prizes include a day in Chef Luke French’s kitchen at sought-after fine dining restaurant Jöro, a chocolate tasting, tour and workshop for five with Yorkshire’s first bean-to-bar chocolate maker Bullion, and a vintage bottle of Châteauneuf du Pape from 1999 from Starmore Boss’ private collection.
The proceeds from the auction will enable us to continue to help the young people of Sheffield tackle social isolation, improve wellbeing, and develop their employability skills. As one of a few Sheffield charities that pay trainees the real living wage, we’ve supported many 16-24 year olds through our practical hands-on nature-based programmes, some of whom have since secured employment.
Steven Cotton, Grow’s Founder and Managing Director, said:
“We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with some of Sheffield’s best and most innovative food and drink businesses to have a big impact on the lives of young people in Sheffield!”
