We are delighted to be teaming up with The Mowbray on their popular supper club. Join us for divine summer-inspired feast hosted in a sumptuous event space in the heart of Neepsend.

The Mowbray’s highly sought after Supper Clubs bring people together from all over to enjoy seasonal produce and dishes. Served in a grand dining style where plentiful food is passed from one another and chatter among friends and neighbours is very much encouraged, this will be a feasting experience like no other.

A percentage of ticket sales will be very kindly donated to Grow by The Mowbray and there will also be the chance to win a wonderful summer raffle. More details to come…

The feast

The menu will be dictated by the seasonal availability of ‘what’s good to eat right now’ but below is a snippet of what The Mowbray are thinking about.

What goes on the menu will be decided the week or days leading up to the feast – with so many factors at play – especially at this time of year – the weather being one of them… We’re looking forward to presenting you with inspired plates of English goodness!

The ingredients will be prepared and served as a rolling feast.

On the menu so far… (to be confirmed nearer the time)

Wholewheat soda bread with house-made butter (v, g)

The Mowbray’s soda bread is made using the buttermilk from our homemade butter & Yorkshire Organic Miller’s flour

Ham croquettes with fresh peas & broad beans

Chalk stream trout

Isle of Wight tomatoes / Bobby beans / English courgettes

Salted scraper potatoes with fresh garlic aioli

Lamb or rabbit with cavatelli pasta, white wine & fresh herbs

Makin’s strawberries or gooseberries

House-made elderflower syrup
