Inspiring Hope Through Nature Online Art Auction
We are very excited to be running an online auction of art that has been inspired by the natural world. Our previous auction was a great success in bringing the community and artists together whilst also supporting our cause. Everyone is a winner!
This year, Grow will be celebrating its fifth birthday! It’s an exciting time for us, as we transition from focusing on establishing ourselves, to making big plans for our future. As well as continuing to support young people through our programmes, we want to increase the number we work with and expand the outcomes for participants through integration of horticulture and customer service qualifications. To support these goals, we need to raise funds.
We are proposing an online auction of art that has been inspired by the natural world. The auction will be open for bids from the launching on 3 October, and ending at 10pm on 16 October.
How will it work?
- Each piece of art will be listed on the online auction.
- The listing will include photographs and details about the piece (including sizes, medium and an introduction to the artist and their inspiration).
- The auction will be promoted through Grow’s social media and contacts, as well as the contacts of each artist and other Sheffield based press contacts
- People will be able to bid online between 3 October to 10pm on the 16 October.
- They will be notified if they are outbid
- Frequent social media updates will aim to keep engagement high throughout the length of the auction
- On 16 October the auction will reach a close at 10pm
- Winning bids will be notified via email and payments will be automatically collected by the online auction
- Winners will be asked to collect pieces of art directly from the artist, unless another arrangement is preferable and agreed by both parties.
